Nakuru

Catching up on old stuff... here are some photos from Lake Nakuru.

This lake was also very high because of recent rains and the shoreline had come in 3 km in some places!

 In the photo below you can see what is normally a road in the center, now underwater

 Because of the high water, most of the 1 million flamingos had left, but there were still a few hanging around.

 Rock hyraxes are so cute!

 Young baboons play-fighting

 Several lions were napping near our lodge all day. Here is a young male

 And finally, some white rhino grazing near the lake
